PUBLIC-RECORD DATA. Real organization name, phone & address from the NCES Common Core of Data (CCD). The contact-name, title, email & web-domain columns are empty disclosed seams — the source does not publish them and they are never fabricated. Scope is the Education (K-12) layer of SLED.

Interpretation & clarifying answers

The customer was asked three scoping questions. Their answers:

  • Data source: Public-record sources — scrape official SLED / government &

business directories, with a source URL on every record.

  • Segment: SLED (State, Local & Education government).
  • Scope: All 50 states, broad coverage.

What this delivers

A real, public-record contact directory of **every US public school district / education agency (the Education layer of SLED) — 19,453 organizations across all 50 states + DCgrouped by state**, with company (organization) name, organization type, phone, full address, county, enrollment, and complete provenance for every row.

What it honestly does NOT deliver (disclosed up front)

The chosen authoritative public-record source (NCES CCD LEA Directory) does not publish a named person, that person's title, an email address, or a **web domain. Those four columns exist in the schema but are empty for every record** and are flagged as disclosed seams — they are never fabricated. The broader SLED layers (state agencies, local/county/municipal governments, higher-ed) are also deferred to v2. See proof/LIMITATIONS.md and design/CAPABILITY_GAP.json for the exact sourcing plan to fill these gaps.
